ABOUT THE BOOK:
Addie Heywood thought she was doing okay after her fiancé dumped her
just weeks before their wedding, claiming he’d found someone else more
compatible with his health food tastes. But when he marries the other
woman three months later, Addie needs to get away. Leaving her home in
Idaho, she escapes to Mitchel Creek, Georgia to visit her Aunt Janie.
She just wants to spend the next two weeks enjoying her aunt’s southern
cooking, not dodging the guys her aunt is determined to set her up with.
Chase Nichols isn’t looking for love. His dream is to trade his
computer mouse for his guitar and make it big in the country music
world. If he can land a job in Nashville, he might have a shot at
getting discovered. His plans get derailed when he does his neighbor a
favor and picks up her niece, Addie, at the airport. Things get even
more complicated when his ex-girlfriend comes back into the picture.
That’s when he hatches a new plan. Since Addie wants to avoid her aunt’s
matchmaking schemes, and he wants to avoid his ex-girlfriend, they’ll
fool the world by pretending to date. What neither of them counts on is
actually falling in love.
MY THOUGHTS:
This book has been in my to-read
pile for a long time. Finally was able to get it to the top! It was
totally worth it! I Loved the relationship between Chase and Addie. They
knew each other as teens but then didn't see each other for years. They
had and instant connection but both wanted to fight it. I love that
they excepted each other for so they are and had so much fun together.
It was a fun clean romance! Can't wait to read the next one!

Winter in Snow Valley by: Cindy Roland Anderson, Jeanette Lewis, Lucy McConnell, Cami Checketts, Taylor Hart, Kimverly Montpetit
ABOUT THE BOOK:
The Snow Valley authors have teamed up again with six sweet and fun winter romances sure to heat up the coldest of nights.
Destiny Came Knocking by Cindy Roland Anderson
When Piper Jensen’s dog has a litter of puppies that aren’t anything like their purebred mother, she immediately suspects the culprit responsible for the mishap is her neighbor’s derelict dog. Seeking restitution, Piper confronts the owner, Gabe Wesson, a single father of two children that likes to keep to himself. She isn’t prepared for Gabe to be so handsome, nor so disagreeable, and is irritated by his demands for a paternity test to prove his dog is the sire. As she and Gabe try to work things out, they both fight a growing attraction neither one of them want. But when Piper finds her heart falling in love with his children, it might be the catalyst that tips the scale towards a destiny she never dreamed possible.
Starlight Kisses by Jeanette Lewis
Mariah Lacoste has come to Snow Valley to help her cousin revive Artisan's Knack, a boutique on Main Street that has definitely seen better days. Yeah, the timing might not be great—a major overhaul of the store plus maid of honor duties for a wedding, all during the worst winter Snow Valley has seen in a decade—but Mariah is confident she can handle it. But can she handle Riker Carmichael, the best man and rumored player, who sets out to steal her heart?
The Light in Your Eyes by Cami Checketts
Snow Valley's new pediatric dentist, McCoy Wilson, is in debt and stress taller than his beat-up Chevy. The last thing he needs is a beautiful assistant who he's drastically overpaying.
Chanel Horman prays moving to Snow Valley after her husband's death will give her and her son a fresh start. A hunky new boss isn't in the plans, but she'll have to find some way to work with McCoy without melting at his gentle smiles or she'll be in trouble deeper than the snow drifts.
The Better Man by Taylor Hart
Chase Moon hates weddings, but a guy can't avoid his brother's marriage so he's got to man up and show up. Autumn Lane has a plan in life and it doesn't include her ex fiancé or some ex bronc rider thinking he has to protect her. When Chase and Autumn are forced into working together, neither of them imagined they’d fly to L.A., end up as contestants on the Price is Right, or kiss on a rooftop. Too bad her ex fiancé threatens to sue Chase to get her back. Now Chase is faced with a choice—trust his instincts or only wish he was the better man.
Unbreak My Heart by Kimberley Montpetit
After the worst New Year’s of her life, including finding her fiancé with another woman and seeing a medium, Caitlin Webster travels to the snowy wilds of Montana. An icy road leads to an encounter with a red monster truck and contractor Quentin Hudson. Is Quentin just a big burly Montana dude—all brawn and no brains—or is there more to this enigmatic man and his monster truck? Is he the one who will capture Caitlin’s broken heart and end up saving everyone at the end?
Wedding Fever by Lucy McConnell
Cat O’Shae, a Christian romance writer who moved to Snow Valley sets a New Year’s resolution to create romance off the page. When her eyes lift from the computer screen, they land on Sam Miller, an unlikely candidate for a romantic hero, except he sure does look good in a cowboy hat and he did save her from one mad chicken… Sam might just be what she needs to start the New Year off right.

MY THOUGHTS:
Wedding Fever by: Lucy McConnell
*Sigh* loved
this one! Today is FREEZING outside so I curled up under blanket to
finish this novella totally worth it! I loved Cat and Sam's story.
Sometimes things just fall into place and everything becomes perfect
without even trying to make it happen. This is how this story goes. I'm a
HUGE fan of this Author and this was a great start to this set! Loved
it for sure!
UnBreak my Heart by Kimberly Montpetit
Caitlin
and Quentin had such a great story. It is really hard to overcome a
broken heart but when you find the right person it defiantly makes
things easier. I loved that Quentin wasn't who she would normally pick
for herself. Your head and your heart don't always think the same way. I
love a good happily ever after and this was defiantly that!
The Light In Your Eyes by Cami Checketts
There
isn't a book by this Author I don't love. She is still my favorite! I
loved Chanel and McCoy's story. Both are looking for happiness after a
rough time and both are in the same profession. I love these happily
ever after stories when friendship turns into something more. I really
enjoyed the twist in this one too. Made it even better to read! You
don't want to miss this one or any of the other Snow Valley stories.
Great job Cami as always!
Destiny Came Knocking by: Cindy Roland Anderson
I
am a firm believers that things don't happen by chance. That there is a
bigger plan we can't always see. I liked how Piper and Gabe met.
Through their dogs how funny is that. I loved how well Piper took to
Gabe's kids sometimes "baggage" is hard to see around. They were able to
build such a great friendship that I loved reading about their happily
ever after.
Starlight Kisses by: Jeanette Lewis
Riker
and Mariah have such a great story. They sorta met by accident but had
an instant connection and neither wanted a relationship but they found
themselves drawn to each other. I love the teasing playful type
relationships because that is how me and my hubs are. This was another
awesome addition to the set!
The Better Man by:Taylor Hart
I
hate to read stories about abuse but unfortunate that is a reality and
it's good to get a dose of it once in a while. It makes them more
bearable when they have a happy ending. I love Chase and Autumn's story.
Sometimes the one we fall in love with isn't the one we had always
pictures ourselves with the our heart wants what it wants. What a great
ending to an amazing set of novellas. Loved it!

Since she isn’t marrying for love, Ivy secretly creates a kissing wish list composed of scenes from the romance books she loves to read. She hopes to experience at least one kiss from her list before she becomes officially engaged and seals her fate. When she travels to Snow Valley to help her aunt recover from knee surgery, Ivy finds herself falling for Kellen Thomas, an irresistible cowboy she should avoid. By chance Kellen finds Ivy’s list, and decides to make it his mission to help her fulfill her bucket list, turning her world upside down and making Ivy want to choose her heart over duty.
Love Coming Late, Jeanette Lewis
Cynthia Eddington never thought she'd return to Snow Valley after a string of bad luck forced the sale of her beloved farm there. But here she is, about to start a new life with her children, Jackson and Anoria. Cynthia plans to focus on her career and her family; she's not looking for romance and she's definitely not looking for sexy cowboy, Colby Schroder.
Running from the Cowboy, Cami Checketts

Volunteering to teach a youth Sunday school class seems like a good way to get out of her comfort zone—until she ends up kissing Porter Wilson in front of a bunch of teenagers. But, Missy wasn't the only one affected and Porter's new mission in life is to prove that there's more to him than flirting and world-tilting kisses. He wants to show her that a true cowboy knows how to treat a lady and, if Missy can't keep her wits about her, she might just let him.
The Bet, Taylor Hart
When Destiny Morningstar gets blackmailed into spending her spring break in Snow Valley, the last thing she’s looking for is a date, especially not with Adam and Chase Moon—two attractive and athletic brothers. But soon she finds herself tangled up in a dating spree that includes a flag football game, swinging around the barn dance, and hiking to Snow Valley's romantic hot springs with the town's most eligible bachelors. At every turn she's within kissing distance of one of the delectable Moon men. When she discovers she’s been part of some bet fueled by sibling rivalry and overactive egos she has to make a decision—forgive them both or miss out on the best thing that’s ever happened to her.
Sealed with a Kiss, Kimberley Montpetit

When April Murphy, a war widow with a child, shows up in Snow Valley, James reluctantly begins to wonder if he and Jessica are really meant to be. April would make the perfect pastor’s wife and he’d have an instant family and the stability he craves. But he can’t get the spitfire Jessica out of his mind and when she returns to Snow Valley to accept an inheritance, her male ballet partner in tow, the love triangle takes on a new edge. Can Jessica and James figure out how to create a family while living in two different states—or do they allow their hearts to move on and forget the passion they once shared?
Romancing a Husband, Lucy McConnell

In some ways, they’ve grown apart and Natalie can’t help but wonder if her path through life will always include Eli. When tragedy throws them together, Natalie learns a profound lesson that may save her marriage and provide the key to romancing a h
MY THOUGHTS:
Operation Kiss the Girl by:Cindy Roland Anderson
I loved this story! What a great opening to this set! We all fell in love with Kellen in the Summer in Snow Valley books so it was great to see him get his story. I loved Kellen and Ivy's story. The Instant attraction they had for each other was much like my husband and I. I thought it was awesome that Kellen, a former military man, made it his mission to give Ivy what she wanted. Isn't that how life is supposed to be.
Always striving to be there for each other and to make each other happy I any way possible. I also loved how the Author made references to Oh Come on Be Faithful by Cami Checketts because I love that book as well! Great Job Cindy I look forward to reading more from you!
Love Coming Late by: Jeanette Lewis
What a sweet story. I loved how this one was a little out of the norm. This is my take on it....This story shows that sometimes your heart wants what it wants. Even if people, the world, your family who ever see things differently only you can decide what is best for you. Sometimes you may takes some bumps to get there but in the end only happiness matters. Awesome job Jeanette loved it!
Running From the Cowboy by: Cami Checketts
Cami's books are the best! Anyone who follows my blog or reads my reviews know shes one of my favorites! Our humor is very much the same it seems and I think that is why I relate to her books so well. I loved this story. Sometimes it is really hard to overcome a bad relationship. You definitely form in your mind what you would never want again. Missy wanted nothing to do with cowboys. When she meets Porter she wants nothing to do with him or another relationship. I love the bond they form and the relationship they have. This is a great clean romance. Great job Cami as always I loved it!
The Bet by: Taylor Hart
This story had it all. A love/hate relationship that is also a love triangle between brothers...
Destiny is struggling after tragedy in her life and the last thing she needed was a jerk like Adam. I loved this story and how it had you pulling for the one that normally wouldn't win. I love that she was able to find closure and happiness. I don't want to spoil more than I have. Trust me it's a Great book!
Sealed with a Kiss by:Kimberley Montpetit
This novella had me guessing till the end. I loved the plot twist and the decision between the 2 guys. For a while there I wasn't sure Jessica would end up with the guy I wanted her too. I'm all for a sappy love story but it's awesome to throw a twist in there once in a while. We have been following Pastor James and Jessica for awhile so it was fun to see their story finished up. Loved it! Another awesome Snow Valley Romance!
Romancing a Husband by: Lucy McConnell
I think this was my favorite story of the set. Although I am a sucker for a good romance story, I am married, and I know that everyday isn't a fairy tale for sure. This story was a good reminder that life is hard. Things come along that throw us off, things take us out of our comfort zones and they require hard work and dedication. It is also important to remember that we do need to romance our spouses. We get into a routine and we forget about all the fun of the 'honeymoon faze' when our entire focus was to bring each other happiness. It was nice to read something a little different for a change that would give us a nice kick of reality! I think we can all use a good reminder once in a while and if your relationship ever gets to a low dark place like Natalie and Eli's you won't ever forget how important even the little things are because it takes a lot of effort on both parts to bring it back to somethings great! I can totally relate! Again I loved this book it was an awesome change of pace. Great job!

Still, Juliet would have gone out with Tag again the next day—and the next—had he asked. So now that he’s finally popping up in her in-box again, Juliet must decide whether to say yes to the date, even if it puts her at risk of another decade of carrying a torch for Tag McClintock. Will their second date be their last?

A single mother, with her children grown and unable to return for the holiday, Celeste determines to take a break from everything. When her single neighbor and almost-best-friend, Mike Durham, discovers her non-plans, they discuss things they’ve always wanted to do, but never had time. Mike and Celeste put together a friendly competition of checking off the things on their bucket list, all the while drawing closer and discovering they have more in common than they thought.
In CHRISTMAS EVERY DAY, a delightful novella by Heather B. Moore, Monica is on the verge of buying her dream store, but when she tells her boyfriend, he turns it into an embarrassing public argument. Heartbroken, but determined to follow her dream, she goes to her employer’s Christmas party to play Mrs. Claus, only to be paired with someone unexpected. A young Mr. Claus who is the complete opposite of her ex-boyfriend in all the most important ways. Yet, Monica is not sure she can risk opening her heart again.
In Jennifer Griffith’s exciting novella FIRST (AND LAST) CHRISTMAS DATE, pilot Juliet Law has been in a holding pattern, dating the wrong guy, until she gets a holiday shake-up: old flame Tag McClintock e-mails her to ask for second date—after ten years. Their first date, back in high school, had been an unmitigated disaster culminating with Pepto Bismol and the police.
MY THOUGHTS;
Forgotten Kisses by Cindy Roland Anderson
Loved this story. What a great opening to
the book. Finding trust in a relationship can be so hard. I love the
advice given in this story. Brutal honesty all the time. Yes it will be
difficult be definitely worth it! I'm all for second chances too.
Sometimes there is just too much there to let things good so easily.
The Last Christmas by: Annette Lyon
Every
marriage goes through rough patches. Communication it key! What one of
you may see as an issue, the other may not see it that way. I'm glad to
see that they also gave things a second chance. I know I wouldn't be
where I am today without one! Another great story!
Truth or Dare by: Julie Coulter Bellon
I had gotten a sneak peak of this book
and couldn't wait to read it! It was so good! I would love to see more
to this story about Cami and Jonah someday! I don't have many people I
talk to from back in my High School days...but that was a long time ago
for me...It would be nice to have more life long friends! I loved that
their friendship picked right up where it left off. Loved it Julie!
Holiday Bucket List by Sarah M. Eden
This novella was so cute! I love the idea
of a Holiday bucket list I think I am going to talk my hubs into doing
one with me this year! It was great to see 2 people who were such great
friends come together. Our spouses are always our best friends anyway!
Great addition to the set of stories!
Christmas Every Day by: Heather B. Moore
Monica is the sweetest girl who drops
everything for others. She even loves working in A year round Christmas
store. I love that when she does so much for others it finally comes
full circle is able to find her Rescuer during hard times. This was such
a fun Christmas novella I loved it! Great job Heather!
First (and Last) Christmas Date by: Jennifer Griffith.
This was a great ending to an awesome set
of novellas! Loved this one too. My favorite part was, "Life isn’t
about doing things perfectly. It’s about experiencing stuff. Together.
The good times are fine. They’re great. But the bad times all go into
the mixer of experience and memory, and it polishes them up, like a rock
tumbler. They become beautiful.” This is exactly how my marriage and my
life go. It was a great lesson for the story!
If you are looking for a good read definitely get this one I finished it in a day!
Note: I was asked by the Authors to read
this book and give it an honest review but I loved it so much I also
bought it on my own!

MY THOUGHTS:
Catching
Caytie
I
loved this novella! I loved how the main characters met and that they ended up
spending so much time together when it happens they are going to be living
under the same roof. Their story was so sweet and even when they were forced
apart they found their way back to each other. It was a great feel good romance
much like the first book!
Tin
foil tiaras
I
can't relate much to the beauty pageant scene because I never did it myself. I
know that it is a lot of pressure on girls. I see the same thing with my daughters’
friends that dance. Glad both she and I never did either. I also liked that the
Author addressed cutting. It isn't something very widely talked about and I
wish it could get out more because I had a niece that had some issues with it.
I think if people knew more about it maybe it could be helped or even stopped.
All in all I loved this addition to snow valley!
A
Touch of Love
This
novella was awesome! One of my good friends stutters like Annie. I am sure that she has had some rough times
because of it. We have always had a great time together and it has never
bothered me. Annie and Luke's story was so sweet. I like that he was patient
from the start, he never saw her as anything but beautiful and perfect for him.
It was fun to get a glimpse of Kazlyn and Ty again! Another great book by my
favorite Author! Love all of Cami's books!
First
Love
This
book was so sweet about past loves reuniting. At one point it almost had me
crying. I love to see deserving people get their happily ever after and that is
how this story goes. Loved it!
Romancing
Rebecca
Another
great novella. Just when Becca thought her life wasn't going anywhere and she
had no inspiration for the novel she wants to write everything in her life
changes. I feel it was a great book for self discovery and happiness!
Love
in light and shadow
The
Count of Monte Cristo is my favorite of the classic books! I loved the
references to it! Chet and Mercedes had such a great story. Their playfulness
and instant bond and understanding of each other reminded me of my husband and
I. It was an excellent finish to a great set of novellas!

Ty's career is in jeopardy, and he needs a miracle and Kazlyn to save him.
The Christmas Eve Kiss by Taylor Hart
Molly O'Hare gets the utterly ridiculous prediction that she will kiss her true love on Christmas Eve. But when she returns to Snow Valley and comes face to face with Kevin Snow, suddenly the kiss thing seems...a lot less ridiculous. Now Molly is left with a choice--forget the home town and the boy that she never quit loving or let Christmas work out a miracle all on its own.
Risking it all for Love by Award-Winning author, Kimberley Montpetit
Succumbing to family pressure, Jessica Mason reluctantly comes home for Christmas. Ever since her high school boyfriend's death from a car accident three years earlier, Jessica and religion have not been compatible. James can not only dish back Jessica's finely-tuned sarcasm but understands grief all too well, turning Jessica's world upside down. Is she ready to take another risk on love?
Blue Christmas by Lucy McConnell:
As head of Snow Valley hospital's fundraising effort, Paisley Hackett barely has time to organize the craft show, cookie decorating party, and the annual Christmas Ball. What she doesn't have time for is falling in love with Clay Jett, the incredibly handsome bass player who sweeps into town. She's been burned by a tourist romance before and, with everything going on, Paisley will have to work overtime to protect her heart from Clay and his swoon-worthy ballads.
An Unexpected Kiss by Cindy Roland Anderson
Sometimes I wish that I had the courage or the boldness that Lucy has. To be able to walk up to a stranger and ask for a kiss to avoid someone you aren’t happy about seeing it one thing but then have to face him again later is another. I love this story and how Lucy makes a new friend is this mystery guy from the airport and wants to show him the true meaning of Christmas. Their story is so sweet and their friendship blossoms.
Feels Like Love by Jeanette Lewis
April is a farm girl at heart and even though she moved away from farm life for a while she will always be a farm girl. So when she brings her city slicker fiancé home for Christmas they were both bound to get some surprises they didn’t count on. Everyone has a past love from their hometown. Most people don’t plan to rekindle what where there before so when April finds herself stuck between loving 2 different men there is bound to be drama! I loved reading along as she tried to figure out which path her heart would take.
Full Court Devotion by Cami Checketts
Kazlyn is too busy with school to worry about boys but when she runs into (literally) the star on the basketball team Tyrese Hamilton she doesn’t know what to think. He is even more shocked when she won’t even give him the time of day. Tyrese decides that she is a challenge he would like to take on so he kind of follows her around and wait for her outside her classes. As they start to form a friendship they both realize their might just be something else there. What at first seems like an unlikely match turns out to be a very heartwarming story where they are able to save each other! And to top it off there is basketball and romance! Two of my favorite things!
The Christmas Eve Kiss by Taylor Hart
Molly O'Hare can’t seem to find love and then when her roommate predicts that she will get kiss on Christmas Eve she thinks she is crazy. When she returns home for unexpectantly and comes face to face with Kevin Snow, suddenly things change. She doesn’t know if she wants to face her past and the things she has been running from and trying to forget or to embrace them and see if the love she dreamed of as a girl can come back as real as ever. I know what it is like to run from things you fear to face again something they aren’t even as you remembered. I am glad that this story worked out so well for Molly!
Risking it all for Love by Award-Winning author, Kimberley Montpetit
Going thru a heart break and loss of someone you love like Jessica did is unimaginable, especially so young. It would be hard to pull out of such a tragedy let alone have to face the town again and the people. Sometimes just the memories are hard enough to bare. This story had a lot of tough times as Jessica tries to work thru her issues but the story is so sweet as she tries to find happiness again. Even though she wasn’t there for friendship, romance or religion she ends up finding all 3 and even though it was a tough path she is able to both thru for the better and I loved that!
Blue Christmas by Lucy McConnell:
Paisley seems to have it all together and she is in charge of some many of the holiday festivities that she doesn’t have time to fall in love. Then she meets up with an old friend from the past. Clay comes to town and she remembers him a lot differently than they way he is now. The only problem is he doesn’t live in town and she has been burned by people visiting before. She doesn’t want to start another relationship with someone who is going to leave but the more she is around Clay and sees how different and yet familiar this life is she can’t help but fall in love.

I know what it is like to run from things you fear to face again something they aren’t even as you remembered. I am glad that this story worked out so well for Molly!

MY THOUGHTS:
After reading this set of Christmas Novellas I want to spend every Christmas in the tiny town of Snow Valley, Montana. I would love to be in a place filled with so much Christmas Spirit. I LOVED THIS BOOK. Each novella had something different to offer and I couldn’t put the book down! This whole Christmas set is AWESOME. It is the kind of book you sit under a big soft blanket with and read with some cocoa during a snow storm. It is a clean romance with feel good stories that will leave you feeling wonderful and in the Christmas spirit! This is defiantly a book you need to own trust me, I own 2 copies already!!!!An Unexpected Kiss by Cindy Roland Anderson
