Harvest Moon Homecoming (Sweet Haven Farm Book 0) by Jessie Gussman

ABOUT THIS BOOK:

Frustrations and tensions fly amid adversaries turned partners in this fun and sweet romance.

When the high school’s float explodes five days before the National Farmer’s Day parade, Principal Calvin Finkenbinder sees his chance at the promotion to Superintendent disintegrate. Unless he enlists the help of Ellie Bright, the most annoying, disorganized and kissable woman he knows.
Standing in Principal Fink’s office, again, for driving her daughter to school late, again, Ellie is given two odious choices. Either her straight A daughter receives detention for another tardy that’s not her fault, or Ellie uses her artistic skills and helps the uptight, stringent principal build a new float.
As they scramble to construct the float in time, Ellie’s chaotic life collides with Fink’s methodical plans. A tangle of arguments and decorations leads to a stolen kiss. Underneath their long established animosity is an unexpected passion that threatens to ruin more than just a school float.

MY THOUGHTS:

This is a new Author for me. Sometimes it is hard to try something new but her covers were so cute and I chatted with the Author on Facebook and knew I had to take a chance. I’m so glad I did they was such a cute book. I loved it! It also reminded me a lot of a farm near my house. I love Fink and Ellie’s story. Sometimes opposites are the best because you both compliment each other and make the other work to be a better person. I can’t wait to read more from this Author! Don’t be afraid to give her a try.

Silver Star by Lisa Swinton

ABOUT THE BOOK:

Her cowboy might just be another broken-heart ballad waiting to happen…

Country superstar Sara Silver has it all: fame, fortune, and a mantel full of Grammys. She also has a string of chart-topping heartbreak songs to go with them—all based on her miserable love life. Now her manager says Sara doesn’t sing with the heart she used to. If she doesn’t come up with another hit album soon, then her label will move on to the next big thing.

Sara heads to a ranch in Wyoming to get back to her country roots and rediscover herself. To keep the press away, she hides her identity and is determined to let nothing distract her. Then she meets Cal: tall, brooding, and all cowboy. Sara falls for Cal and the quiet ranch life, but with each song she writes her time there draws to a close.

Sara will have to choose between the country stars of Nashville or the glittering stars of a Wyoming sky…unless she can find a way to have both.

MY THOUGHTS:
Loved this one so much! It’s been a while it seems since I read a good dreamy sign book. This one was one of those for sure. I loved Sara and Cal together so much! The character development and detail in this book are amazing! This Author keeps getting better and better for sure! Can’t wait for more from her.

The Sheriff's Bride: Country Brides & Cowboy Boots (Cobble Creek Romance Book 1) by: Kimberly Krey

ABOUT THE BOOK:
Trent Lockheart might be the new sheriff in town, but he can’t stop Jessie Jean from stealing his heart.

Sheriff Trent Lockheart knew he’d be in for a challenge when he moved from the big city and a large police force to the small Wyoming town of Cobble Creek. But at least he’d be able to stick to his bachelor ways without temptation. So he thought. Cobble Creek isn’t overflowing with young, single ladies, but Jessie Jean—the gorgeous brunette who runs the Country Quilt Inn—proves more tempting than any woman he’s known.

Jessie doesn’t care much for the new sheriff in town. After an explosive first meeting that almost ends in Jessie’s arrest, she’s even more determined to plan on dinner for one for the rest of her life. Sure, the new sheriff is seriously attractive, and after a second, much less dangerous run-in, he might not be that bad, but Jessie has no plan to marry, date, or even let a man into her life. Still, as the days pass, Trent’s surprising charm works past Jessie’s determination, and she finds promise in their budding relationship.

After opening up about the difficulties in her past, Jessie finds that Trent is guarding a dark tragedy of his own, one that might threaten their chance at a future together.

MY THOUGHTS:
This was such a cute book! Both Trent and Jessie had sworn off dating and marriage but when you find your match it’s hard to stay away no matter what happens. I loved that this book wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows and they both had issues to work through. Makes the book that much better to read. Love everything by this Author can’t wait to catch up on the few I haven’t read yet!

Echo Ridge romances:

One Winter Night
Much Ado About a Kiss
You've Got Email
Almost Home
Wedding Bell Blues.

MY THOUGHTS:
I really love the Characters from Echo Ridge. It was fun to catch up with them again. Whenever we are burned by someone in life it is really hard to trust anyone. That is what happens we to Ashley. But since Scott was such a great fit for her he was hard to resist. I love their chemistry and how it was just so natural for him to live her and the boys. Such a nice ending to the town of Echo Ridge.

ABOUT THE BOOK:
Gabby St. Claire Thomas and her Cold Case Squad reunite to solve a missing person’s case.

A friend of Gabby’s husband needs help. His wife, Brooke, went to work one day and never returned home. No one has seen or heard from the woman in four months, and every lead has dried up.

Gabby fears this investigation won’t be the clean sweep she hoped for. No, the dirt she’s turning up might be more of a toxic stain. But as the stakes become clear, she realizes that failure isn’t an option.

MY THOUGHTS:
It was fun to read Gabby and the gang again, it’s been a while. Loved all the twists and turns of this one! This Author always pulls you in quickly and keep you interested until the end! Can’t wait to read more!
