When a Polar Plunge goes terribly wrong and someone dies in the icy water, former TV detective Joey Darling wants nothing to do with subsequent investigation. But when her picture is found in the dead man’s wallet and witnesses place her as the last person seen with the man, she realizes she’s been cast in a role she never wanted: suspect.
Joey makes the dramatic mistake of challenging the killer on camera, and now it’s a race to find the bad guy before he finds her. MY THOUGHTS:
I'm
so loving this new series. I feel like I am developing some serious
emotions with these characters as the books go on. I loved the although
Joey is kind of spacey she is still able to figure things out in her
investigations. I am also enjoying the love triangle that is starting to
develop between Joey, Jackson and Zane it reminds me of the earlier
books of the Squeaky Clean series by this same Author. These books are
simply amazing and I can't wait for more!
