Last Chance (In The Garden Book 4) by: Heather Tullis

ABOUT THE BOOK:
Four years ago Comfrey turned her back on the high-class life she had been raised in and her equally high-class fiance--knowing he loved the life she had found suffocating. Excited to be moving forward with her new permaculture homestead, and sure she is finally over him, she is shocked to find Nick standing on her doorstep.

Nick had no plans to see Comfrey again after she broke his heart, but his boss, who happens to be her father, has other ideas. Tasked with convincing her to come back to the fold, he finds that loving her is something he may never get out of his blood. Now he just has to convince her that they have a future together.

MY THOUGHTS:
Loved this one! Sad that it will be the last in this series. I had a lot of fun reading this one and I can relate to Comfry in a lot of ways. There is nothing wrong with distancing yourself from people, especially family, when they are dragging you down. When someone doesn’t take the time to understand you and your thoughts they have no place trying to suggest what’s best for you. I’m so glad Comfry was willing to give her and Nick another try and it was nice to see some of the other characters from the earlier books show up here. Can’t wait to see more from this Author.

First Crush by: Heather Tullis

ABOUT THE BOOK:
Third-grade teacher Maddie McCormick was thrilled when the greenhouse classroom actually came to fruition—but she hadn’t counted on angering the local street thugs, or their threats.
Police officer Ben Belliston hadn’t planned on fatherhood—ever—but gaining custody of his orphaned niece had him rearranging all of his priorities. She and Maddie, her new teacher, bonded right away, so he was happy to provide a little off-duty security in the greenhouse—it was more than a fair exchange for the way Maddie helped his niece from her shell. He hadn’t expected to begin seeing his best friend’s little sister in a new light, or the way it would make him question all of his future plans.

MY THOUGHTS:
I loved this book. It was just as good as the first 2 in this series and I love it when an author carries the characters you loved in other books on to the next one. Maddie and Ben have such a great history and a great story and it was fun to read it! Sometimes our lives don't always turn out they way we thought they would and we become someone we never thought we would be. It's funny how it works that way! Loved this book can't wait for the next one! Great job Heather!

Note: I was given this book by the Author in Exchange for an honest review.
