MY THOUGHTS:
I love the Power of the Matchmaker series. Nelle faces unspeakable tragedy. When she goes to live with her Aunt, love is the last thing on her mind. I love the instant bond that Nelle and Mathew have. Everything isn't always a fairy tale. Life has challenges and sometime things stand in the way of what we want. I love Pearls presence in this book and how she is able to help them both find their way to each other. I can't wait for more in this series! Great job Heather as always!

MY THOUGHTS:

I loved this story! I thought it was a great start to the Power of the Matchmaker series. I was a little surprised that the matchmaker is only in the beginning but I guess she wasn't really needed to make the story great. Silas and Celia both have had hard lives and I think my favorite line from the book will help you see the attitude they both have about it! "It isn’t a contest to see whose life is harder. Everyone has hard things. I don’t want you to feel sorry for me.” I love that they both have kind of an instant understanding of each other and are slowly able to build a friendship! All in all great book! Can't wait for the next one in this series!
