MY THOUGHTS:

Book 1:

I love lantern beach and Cassidy. I’m not sure how I feel about this whole cult thing as the next evil on the island. I know that stuff is out there but I don’t like the idea of the island being tainted like that. Kind of a bummer. I still liked the book and it has a ton of suspense and action. I even like the newest member of the police force that is going to be good I think! Just not so excited about this cult story line we will see where the Author takes us....

Book 2:

Wow these books are getting good. Just when I think I can’t fall in love with another series and another set of characters I read a book like this. This one will keep you on your toes and ready to jump right in to the next one! I plan to do just that. It was amazing I loved it!

Book 3:

Wow this series is so amazing! I couldn’t put this one down and binge read it as much as possible.  I finished in a day! Love the edge of your seat suspense. I’m hoping for great things for both Ty and Cassidy. Can’t wait for the next one in this series!

Winds of Danger (Lantern Beach Romantic Suspense Book 4) by Christy Barritt

MY THOUGHTS:

I don’t know how I missed this one but I loved Wes and Paige’s story. They both have a tough back story but when it all comes together it’s awesome! My favorite quote from the book is,”Sometimes, the most rewarding thing we can do is to go against the current. It’s challenging. It’s hard. But you can make your own way . . . and sometimes that’s exactly what we need to do.” I love reading books by this Author!

Margin of Error (Fog Lake Suspense Book 2) by Christy Barritt

MY THOUGHTS:

Ooooh these Fog Lake books are full of suspense and I love it! I loved Boone and Brynlee’s story. It was edge or your seat excitement. I could not put it down! I loving all the Characters in these books can’t wait to read more!

MY THOUGHTS:
This one had me guessing until the end which is what I love! Edge of your seat suspense and not predictable! Love these Fog Lake books and Ansley and Ryan are so cute together. I have a soft spot for firefighters because my hubby has been one for 18ish years! I can’t wait to read more in this series!

Joke and Dagger (The Worst Detective Ever Book 8) by: Christy Barritt

MY THOUGHTS:

Things are always crazy with Joey. I loved this one it was a fun read! I am happy to see that she is getting close to her happily ever after I can’t wait to read more in this series!

MY THOUGHTS:
When retro-girl Holly Anna Paladin is abducted and forced into a 1950s housewife scenario, terror seizes her. Though she manages to escape, too many baffling questions remain.

The perpetrator, known as Doll Man, remains on the loose. The one person who can help her figure out his identity is Detective Chase Dexter, her former fiancé. The man broke her heart, and working with him again might leave it permanently shattered.

MY THOUGHTS:
I love Holly Anna series. I have missed her character. You really need to read the others in this series before reading this one. I was hooked on this book from the first page it was nice to have everything from the other books wrap up and finally get some good answers. I’ll be sad to see these characters taking a break but I know that there are always amazing things in store with this Author and her imagination!

MY THOUGHTS:I love this series! I loved this one so much. My Mom is British so I loved having a Brit in this one! Aspen and Miles have great chemistry. Sometimes it is hard to fight that even when we want to. It was fun to see the characters from the other books as well! I can’t wait for more books from this Author they are amazing!

MY THOUGHTS:
Quinton and Ginny are cute together. It is fun getting to know all the people in the Cove individually. This one was a little slower paced than some of the other books but I still enjoyed it and can’t wait to read more.

Oh how I loved this one!!!! Best book I have read in a while! I binge read it in a day and was up until 3:30AM cause I didn’t want to put it down I love that the Author’s daughter asked her to write “A tragically beautiful story”. This book was all that and then some. I love when an Author puts life on the pages of their stories because let’s face it, life can be hard, marriage can be hard and it’s not all happiness and sunshine. This book is that and so much more. It’s one of my new favorites for sure!! Amazing book! Go read it right now!

MY THOUGHTS:
This was a cute second change love type story. I really like this series and it was fun to get to know more about Troy from DREAMS. Can’t wait to read more from this Author!

MY THOUGHTS:

 stayed up waaaaay to late reading the conclusion of the PD series. Not exactly the ending I was hoping for but still good none the less. I won’t give any spoilers. I think that Blackout series will be interesting. It will be fun to see more from the good people in Lantern Beach .

This series is getting so good and yet twisted at the same time. I love the people of Lantern beach I really hope to seen a happy ending for them and a good ending to all the evil. Can’t wait to read more.

MY THOUGHTS:

Love Cassidy and Lantern beach. I didn’t like this PD spin off as much at first but it’s growing on me. Can’t wait for more in this series!
