ABOUT THE BOOK:
A Novella
Ethan Walters has no time for distractions like romance. Not if he's going to have the brilliant medical career he's always dreamed of. But when he's given a trip to a theme park resort as a college graduation present, he can't exactly say no. Even if Samantha—the one girl with the power to dismantle his goals—is tagging along.
Samantha Diederik has managed to avoid her high society mother’s manipulations since the woman moved to Europe. Now she’s back and pressuring Sam to move to New York with her. With that battle on the horizon, Sam proceeds to go on vacation with her brother and his roommate. She’s crushed on Ethan for years. They've only met online, but their hours-long conversations are the highlight of her week. Now she has a chance to find out if the cyber magic she's felt with him will translate to real life.
And wow, does it ever—with sparks flying! Now all she has to do is find a way to fight off her mother's machinations while convincing Ethan she won’t destroy his dreams.
MY THOUGHTS:
This was such a fun story. Sam and Ethan net and became friends through her brother. They were both huge fantasy book fans. This books had a twist of the Harry Potter story. I have never been a big fan of it myself but this book was super cute. My favorite like was....”The world is full of toxic people, and they can suck the joy right out of you—if you let them. So, don’t let them.” Something we all need to live by to be happy. Great addition to this sets of resort romances

Trouble in Loveland by: Jennifer Peel
What does dating the boss + meddling ex-wife + most adorable three-year-old ever equal? Trouble in Loveland.
At seventeen, Charlee Jensen packed her bags and left her beloved hometown of Loveland, swearing she would never have anything to do with the men that left her heartbroken: her father, the man that taught her heroes can fall; and Ryan Carter, her much older neighbor and teenage crush.
Now eight years later, Charlee has two degrees she never wanted and no job prospects, forcing her to swallow her pride and come home to work for her father's accounting firm--the same firm where newly divorced Ryan Carter is now a partner.
But trouble starts to stir when Ryan realizes the girl next door is all grown up and completely smitten with his adorable three-year-old. Ryan finds it hard to resist his beautiful, yet annoyingly charming neighbor and coworker, but is torn between his feelings and trying to keep the peace with his ex-wife, the mother of his child. It's a recipe for trouble. Will Charlee and Ryan find the formula for success?
MY THOUGHTS:
I waited way to long to read this one. I was AMAZING! Charlee is a lot like me Witty and outspoken. I could really relate to this book in many different ways as I have a step daughter and am also a 2nd wife. We had a lot of things to overcome in the first few years of our relationship with my husband of nearly 18 years now! Charlee and Ryan didn’t have things easy much like life. I loved that this book is so real and relatable. One of my new favorites for sure! Everything by this Author is amazing and I plan to read them all!

Couldn't sleep and I stayed up late reading this whole book! I loved this YA novella! It was so perfect for teens girls. Totally on the path of the way they think and what they want. I can't wait to share it with my daughter. She's only 12 but she loves a good clean romance! This one is like reading the hallmark movies we love to watch together. All of Kimberly's books are awesome! Great job Kim you did it again!

The Country Bride: Billionaire Marriage Brokers Book 4 by: Lucy McConnell
The Country Bride: Billionaire Marriage Brokers Book 4 by: Lucy McConnell
ABOUT THE BOOK:
Paige Baker is bound and determined to start her own horse training business. While at an auction where she plans to purchase the horse of her dreams, she meets Pamela Jone, a matchmaker for the ultra wealthy, and is suddenly on a whole new path in life. Caught up in a whirlwind of wedding plans, Paige wonders what she can bring to the marriage and if her background as a camp counselor and a rodeo star has really prepared her for marriage to the handsome and aloof Mr. Walker.
Cody Walker has already married and mourned the love of his life—or so he thinks. Left with a daughter, Cody dedicated his life to caring for her but he’s having trouble doing it on his own. A friend hands Cody a BMB business card and before Cody can blink, he’s married to the vibrant Paige Baker. She’s everything he needs and so much more. Can he stay true to his first wife’s memory and care for Paige or will he allow this angel to slip through his fingers and lose the only mother his daughter, Addison, has ever known?
Early on, Pamela Jones realized she had an unusual talent for putting two people together. Over the years, she's turned it into a successful matchmaking service for the ultra wealthy: Billionaire Marriage Brokers. While she specializes in "business" marriages -- paring people off because of their skills, education, or training -- she can spot a potential love match a mile away. When Pamela has a "good feeling" about a bride and groom - a business marriage can become so much more.
MY THOUGHTS:
The best thing ever is when you pick up a book and can't put it down until you're done! Like all the others in this set, it was one of those! I loved it! It is one of my favorite because it included a loving Father looking out for his daughter! My hubs had a daughter when we met and I have never thought about her as anything other than my own even though her Mother is still in the picture. I love the way this story came together and their instant attraction to one another and their mutual concern for Addison. Love this whole series!!! I am so excited that there are 2 more books coming out soon! I can't wait! If you haven't tried one yet you should!

Annette Lyon Collection (A Timeless Romance Anthology Book 12) by: Annette Lyon
Annette Lyon Collection (A Timeless Romance Anthology Book 12) by: Annette Lyon
ABOUT THE BOOK:
Amazon #1 Bestselling series in *New Release* for Clean Romance
The ANNETTE LYON COLLECTION contains brand new contemporary romance novella OUR SONG, as well as five hand-picked readers’ and reviewers’ favorites of Annette’s popular Timeless Romance Anthology novellas. Readers will love this selection of three contemporary and three historical romance novellas.
In OUR SONG, a charming romance novella, Cassie and Matt have been dating in the Yellowstone area for two years, and things are, well, average. When Cassie meets up with two college friends who are visiting, their love lives like sound like fairy tales: rose petals, chocolates, candles on the beach… Cassie goes home feeling like she’s missing out. After all, repeatedly watching Old Faithful erupt and walking through sulfur-smelling gases at Fountain Paint Pot don’t exactly say “romance.” Maybe things with Matt aren’t going anywhere, and it’s time to move on. Then she discovers that perception and reality are completely different things. Now she can only hope it isn’t too late to show Matt how much she really cares.
In the sweet novella GOLDEN SUNRISE, Natalie takes time out of her crazy schedule to fly to Vegas for her best friend’s wedding. Sierra and Jason, high-school sweethearts, are finally getting married. Fortunately for Natalie, her old high-school flame, Adam, has a work commitment and can’t be there as best man. But when she arrives at the wedding rehearsal—late and ragged—Adam is there. When Adam makes a wild suggestion, Natalie just may take him up on it, even though she knows he’s moved on. A single choice may mean Natalie is taking a shot at reclaiming the past—or that she's putting her heart in harm’s way a second time.
FIRSTS AND LASTS, an enchanting novella, begins with Dani’s last week in New York. She’s failed in her dreams to catch a break as an actress and is now ready to return home and dust herself off. As she visits the places on her final to-see list, she meets Mark, another New York City transplant with big dreams. Except Mark hasn’t given up on his. As they spend the day together, Dani realizes that even though she hasn’t hit the “big time” she might be living her dream after all. Only problem: she has a one-way ticket back home.
In the compelling novella WAR OF HEARTS, Anna, a journalist, is desperate to escape the magazine where Pete, her now-former boyfriend, also works. Heartbroken and still in love with him, Anna snags an assignment to cover the Winter War in Finland. She arrives at a snowy Finnish battlefront only to discover that Pete is already there—as her photographer. She’s determined to be professional about the situation until a battle breaks out in camp, putting her and Pete in harm’s way and putting their love to the test.
The captivating novella BETWEEN THE LINES follows Jane Martin, who is intelligent but extremely shy, especially around men. When the Aid and Cultural Society proposes a letter-writing program, Jane signs up, hoping she can find true friendship. The program doesn’t run as smoothly as expected, and unknown to Jane, one of the men in her city becomes her writing friend. Thomas Allred has always known shy and quiet Jane, but reading her letters written to his secret persona, opens his eyes to what an amazing woman she is. The only trouble is, Jane doesn’t know that the man who she is falling in love with through letters is also Thomas, the man who is falling in love with her in person.
In the charming novella A TASTE OF HOME, we meet Claire Jennings, who’s on her way to spend Christmas with her family. As she rides the train with William Rhodes, who grew up across the street, memories of the past flood her mind. He may be twenty-one now, but she can’t forget his torturous teasing from their school years. At the rail station, Claire discovers her home is under quarantine because her little brother has measles. She's stuck in town, away from her family, on her favorite holiday, with William.
MY THOUGHTS:
I love Annette's books. The are so light hearted and clean. They are books I love sharing with both my Mother and my Daughter. She always writes in a way any age will love her stories. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review so here they are:
OUT SONG
I loved this novella and I love visiting Yellowstone. Cassie found herself trying to compare her relationship with Matt to the one her friends were trying to make her believe they had. My favorite part of this story was: “Even hidden beneath a mountain, the magma is always there. It will always be hotter and last longer than any firework display. Fireworks may look flashy for a few seconds, but they burn right out.” She went onto her toes and pressed her lips to his briefly again. Then she pulled back slightly, so their noses nearly touched. “I thought I wanted fireworks. But I forgot that I already had— that we already have— the real thing: magma.”
Sometimes it takes looking at something again to realize things are really as bad as they first seemed and what you have is already pretty great!
GOLDEN SUNRISE
Natalie and Adam were high school sweethearts but after a bad break up at graduation the last thing she wanted was to reconnect. When they end join Vegas for a wedding of their best friends they can't seem to avoid each other. Vegas holds a special place in my heart because my husband and I were married there. I love that they were both able to reminisce about their good times together and in the end got their happy ending!
FIRSTS AND LASTS
I loved this story. The chance of meeting someone on the street that you can form an instant bond with is pretty rare. Dani and Mark were fast friends with a lot in common. My favorite line from this story is, "And I can’t help but think that no matter how miserable all of the hard parts will be, they’ll be easier if you’re there going through them with me.” Everyone needs someone to help them they the hard parts of life! They got their happy ending!
WAR OF HEARTS
Anna and Pete had broken up and in their attempts to run away from each other it only led them back to one another. Sometimes it takes being apart to realize that you really are meant to be together. This story also teaches the importance of communication I think things would have been a little easier for them if they would have been able to talk it out. All in all though it was a great story!
BETWEEN THE LINES
The Love Letter collection is one of my favorites of the Anthologies! This novella is so sweet I love how Jane and Thomas were able to form such a wonderful relationship through letter writing and in turn it helped their in person relationship at the same time. If you loved this story defiantly get the Love Letter Collection!
A TASTE OF HOME
I love the magic of Christmas time. I love how these 2 childhood 'enemies' where thrown together during Christmas time. How they were able to make the best of the situation and to fall in love! It shows how even the smallest kind gestures can really go a long way!

The Christmas Card by: Amanda Tru
ABOUT THE BOOK:
A Christmas card meant to win the heart of a woman, changes the hearts of many. Cole Nikols had spent months planning the perfect night for his girlfriend, Sarah Whitman. But when Sarah abandons their date for yet another emergency with her ever-demanding charitable work, everything falls apart. Now, instead of planning their future, Cole is worried he’s ruined any chance he had with Sarah. Wanting to prove his love for Sarah, Cole writes a Christmas card. He sends it to everyone he knows, spreading the message of Sarah’s generous life and dedication to God, while asking others for help in his project of winning the woman he loves. However, never does he imagine the far reach and impact one Christmas card can make. Landing in the hands of so many different people, it produces a chain that changes lives forever. As the Christmas card’s stories come full circle, will Cole’s plan work? Will a Christmas card be enough to win Sarah’s heart?"
MY THOUGHTS:
I loved this book and the whole idea behind it. What Amanda would like to accomplish is so awesome! The whole concept behind it
reminds me of the movie Pay It Forward. This book however is based more
religiously on what would we do for the Savior. I love that Amanda wants to get
the word out about her genius project around Christmas. The point is to have
people that are doing random acts of kindness with the soul purpose of keeping
the Savior in mind. That is the true meaning of Christmas anyway!!! I can't
wait to put this plan in motion and to spread the word both about the project
and the book! I plan to get my kids involved but I hope I can also get my church
ward involved as well. It is a great idea and a great book! Once again Amanda
impresses me with her talent and her great ideas. I hope this one goes far and
does many wonderful things!

A Heart So Broken by: Christene Houston
To learn more about Christene and her books visit her website: http://christenehouston.com/
ABOUT THE BOOK:
When Jenna Tucker arrives on Aunt Lilly's
porch, her broken arm is a small reflection of the shattered girl
within. The sudden loss of her father during his service in Iraq has
conspired to transform her from top of the class track queen to a girl
on the run from haunting nightmares. With a trail of burned bridges
ablaze behind her and deep resentment for the survivor of the blast that
took her father's life Jenna digs in for a miserable summer in small
town West Junction. Aunt Lilly is just what she needs: comfort,
guidance, and hard truth rolled into a pair of loving arms. Under her
tender care, Jenna has a vivid dream that reawakens hope for happiness.
Meeting handsome Cooper Turnage at the crossroads brightens the
possibilities considerably. The attraction that crackles between them is
hard to resist, but Cooper struggles to hide a painful history that
could ruin his chances with Jenna forever. The day Jenna discovers
Cooper's devastating secret, her still tender heart is crushed all over
again. She is confronted with a choice between the comfort of bitterness
or a path of forgiveness that will heal at last a heart so broken.
MY THOUGHTS:
This is the first book of Christene’s I have read. I was very impressed with her style of writing and her attention to the details. I plan to read more of her books in the near future. This book is listed as a YA romance but I didn’t feel that it was geared to an audience so young that I didn’t enjoy it just as much! I lost my own Father 9 years ago yesterday and it was very unexpected. Although I was older than Jenna some I struggled with some of the same emotions and still do. This is one of my favorite parts of the book so you can see what you’ll have to look forward to…. “Cooper, I can’t make you any promises. I know I’m emotional and crazy and so selfish. I know I’m going to disappoint you again because I’m human. But I also know that when we’re together, my heart feels like it’s beating right for the first time. You make me laugh until I cry. You help me be a better person. And I’m willing to fight for us.” I love it when I discover a new Author it’s like Christmas! Christene was a great discovery! I loved this book!
