MY THOUGHTS:
I Love Christy Barritt! This book was perfect for my 11 year old, whom doesn't like reading, and had to give a book report on a mystery book. It wasn't personally one of favorite Christy Barritt books but I tried to remember that it is geared towards kids and when I kept that in mind I loved it. My daughter thought it was a great book and didn't find it predicable. She read thru it easily and wrote a great book report in it. I think it is a great introduction to Gabby and it was fun to read about the her youner year that you read a bit about in the squeaky clean series. I definitely recommend all of those and hope my daughter will some day read them as well. All in all it was a great book for kids!

Shadows in the Curtain

Shadows in the Curtain – Cami Checketts
ABOUT THE BOOK
Every stage actress wants fans, but what happens when one goes too far?
Emmy has the perfect life-- a house on the beach, a successful career headlining the local theater, and love. But when a brutal murder brings unimaginable grief, Emmy's world comes crashing down. As she tries to pick up the pieces, she can't seem to avoid Josh, the new fireman in town.
Emmy does her best to fight the sizzle in her chest when Josh is near. But with the stalker still out there, terrorizing her and those she cares about, she can't fall for anyone--especially Josh, a suspect in the murder investigation.
If Emmy allows a man to get close, it's not just her heart she puts at risk, it's her life.

MY THOUGHTS:
This is a great book! It is full of suspense and I couldn’t put it down. I read it in just a few hours and stayed up way too late because I didn’t want to go to bed without finishing it. Cami does it again! I loved the twist at the end. I was thinking the book was a little predictable but then she added the twist and it was a nice surprise! I am also partial to Fireman since I’m married to one so it quickly became one of my new favorites! As always Cami writes a clean, feel good romance filled with suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Totally worth the read!!

Loved this set!

Regally blonde- Jamie is a former Miss America. She has a great boyfriend and a life some girls dream of. Yet she's not really happy. When she starts teaching the 3 year olds at church one of them calls her Mommy. At first she brushes it off but then she starts to fall in love with this little girl and to top it of her good looking single father is pretty great too. She then begins to face some difficult decisions choosing between her current boyfriend and the beauty queen life or the new guy and his daughter. It is such a sweet story of romance and I really love the ending! It's a great read, totally worth it!

My double life
I'm sure there are some people out there that would dream of being a celebrity or a rock star. I'm not one of them. When Alexia is approached about being a double for a famous rock star she can't believe it. In fact, she hangs up on them. When she fights with her Mother and decides to take the job it turns out to be more than she expected and she find out things about herself and her past. This book is all about self discovery and also about some of the things celebrities endure. Even though I would never want to do it, it was fun to read about! Great book!

Fair Catch- It's not everyday that you get to meet a star athlete let alone live next door to one. After a bad marriage men are the last thing on Ellie Garrett's mind but when she meets Nick, a former quarterback and her new neighbor, she can't help but swoon a little over him. They both learn that if they want a relationship then they will have to adjust a little to each other's lifestyle. The last few chapters if this book caught me off guard. I wasn't really expecting such a turn of events but I loved the twist and the ending! It was a great book I could put it down!

Such a sweet story of love and self discovery!

ABOUT THE BOOK
Injured in a debilitating accident at age six, Ethan Searle believes women eye him with a mixture of pity and disdain. He's tried love before. He won't again. He meets his match in a precocious three-year old who loves him despite his disability, even while her mother seems bothered by everything about Ethan.

Autumn Reader escaped her abusive marriage with her beautiful daughter and a stack of fear. She can't make the mistake of trusting a man again. Autumn's daughter becomes enraptured by Ethan. Despite Autumn's best intentions, she finds herself following her daughter's example. When her ex-husband reappears, threatening everyone she loves if she won't submit to his demands, Autumn has to learn to trust or lose her chance at real love.
MY THOUGHTS:
I loved this book. The innocent eyes of a child can sometimes make us look at things differently. Finding trust in humanity and the opposite sex can be hard after a terrible relationship but Autumn finds herself in a position she didn’t expect to be in again possibly ever. Ethan also has some issues to work thru as he thinks every woman views him as a cripple but as Ethan and Autumn are able to form a relationship with the help of her daughter they both find themselves changing and wanting to change for each other. It is a such a sweet story and once again Cami write a book I can’t seem to put down until I’m done! Totally worth the read!!

Edge of your seat suspense!

ABOUT THE BOOK

Devastated by the loss of her brother, Natasha Senecot works to expose the dangers of Matthew Chrysler's violent video games, succeeding in bankrupting and humiliating him.
Chrysler retaliates and sends a hit man after her. Natasha is forced to fake her own death to protect her children, but after witnessing another tragedy, Natasha won't hide any longer.
In a race against time, can Natasha expose Matthew Chrysler before his assassin murders her family and shatters her world?

MY THOUGHTS:
I loved this book. I was full of suspense and kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't stop reading it. I like how the Author gets you thinking about the scary things of the world that other Authors don't want to touch. How something as simple as a blog can put you in danger in the world today. I liked the mix of adventure/action as well as the romance! What Mother wouldn't go to every extreme to protect her children and her family. It was a nice clean book and a really great read. Once again Cami writes a great book!

Eve: In the Beginning By; H.B. Moore

ABOUT THE BOOK:
EVE: IN THE BEGINNING

The first love story on earth . . . Haunting . . . Lyrical . . . Unforgettable . . .

In a world where everything is perfect, yet the same day after day, Eve must decide if she wants to live forever in the garden with Adam and never know what lies beyond the walls. When she makes a choice with terrible consequences, the pain of mortality is swift. As she and Adam explore their new world, and her body changes, Eve discovers the sweetness of first love with the man who has always been at her side.

MY THOUGHTS:
What a great way to gain an understanding of Adam and Eve! I haven’t read many books that can be classified as Biblical or Historical Fiction. But I have to say, that when written right, they give you a different perspective on things and help you gain a stronger testimony and appreciation for the people that the books are based on. Eve: In the Beginning helps you to realize the people that Adam and Eve were and the choices and situations they were faced with. I don’t know that I have ever really thought about the big picture and thought about them as REAL people, living real lives having to deal with real situations. That is what this book does for you. You can tell that this subject was important to the Author and Heather Moore tells it in a very real and respectful way. As she states in her Authors note at the beginning “the book does not necessarily represent my personal religious beliefs” I think she does a great job at keeping it open true to the bible and not personal opinion. I was also very well written and edited. It is the first Ebook in a while that I haven’t noticed grammar, punctuation or spelling errors and I am not an English major. Even if you normally don’t read Biblical or Historical Fiction I recommend this book if for nothing more than to gain a better understanding of Adam and Eve. It was a great book!
