ABOUT THE BOOK:
Bree has had her fair share of difficulties. The loss of her parents, a
not-so-recent divorce, and the disruption of her life caused by a
stalker now who’s serving jail time. When the determined criminal
finishes his sentence, Bree is sent into hiding. And while she’s doing
all she can to steer clear of this frightening piece of her past, an old
acquaintance enters the scene, determined to be part of her future.
MY THOUGHTS:
It is only fitting that Bree got her own story since she is in a
few of the other books. I loved this one so much! It was sweet, romantic
and suspenseful all in one. Bree has a hard time trusting people after
having a stocker after her half her life and Grayson has been in love
with her for half his life...They are able to form a great friendship
that builds into an even better relationship. I was glad to see her get
her happily ever after. Kim does such an awesome job writing her stories
that you fall in love with the characters and you feel a connection to
them! It makes you want to see great things happen! Her books just keep
getting better! I loved this one awesome job!

Full Circle (The Ball's in her Court Book 3) by: Heather Justesen
ABOUT THE BOOK:
When Shelly’s fiancé dies in an accident days before their wedding, all of her life plans die with him.
A chance to start over in a new country while she pursues her graduate degree gives her new direction, but a run-in with an old flame makes it hard not to look back while she’s moving forward.
This new adult spin-off to The Ball’s in Her Court and Rebound shows sometimes love has to take the long way around to reach its final destination.
MY THOUGHTS:
I loved this book. It's about overcoming heartbreak and life's challenges. Shelly has to endure so many things at a young age and I loved reading about her strengths. It's always important to stick to your true self and keep your standards high especially in times of trial. I always enjoy a great love story and love it when it ends in Happily Ever After! This book was such a fun read! Great Job Heather!
Note: I was given an ARC copy of this book by the Author in Exchange for an honest review!

Ranch Hand for Auction: A Western Romance Novella by: Kimberly Krey
ABOUT THE BOOK
Meg Bolton left her Montana home, earned her bachelor’s degree, and lived out her dream of selling her art. But now her life is in limbo. Stay in Colorado with a man who won’t commit, or call it quits and move back to her home state. Her answer comes in the form of Jake Billings, a woman-courting, dimple-sporting cowboy her father bids on at the county fair. The auctioned ranch hand is meant to help Meg process grapes on her father’s land, but along the way he steals her heart. Can Meg trust this sudden shift in direction, or will she be drawn back to the man she left behind?
MY THOUGHTS:
I loved this story. I especially loved the epilogue. Lately I've been reading novellas where 2 people meet and after a week they know they want to get married. In reality, it rarely works that quickly. That is why I was happy to read the epilogue and see that they took more time getting to know each other before getting married. I also appreciated that Jake paid attention to the little details because that is really the basis for a good relationship in my opinion. If you build off all the little important things it leads to bigger even better things. As always Kim did a great job and continues to impress me with her writing!

MY THOUGHTS FOR: Curl up with a cowboy
Cupcakes and Cowboys by: Lindzee Armstrong
This was such a cute story. Cassidy had been through so much hurt and pain. When she is finally starting to get her live together Jace walks into her life...that is when they both start to live. Loved it! Great job!
Sixth Street Affair By Liz Isaacson
It's so hard to read stories about abuse. Especially in a book when you expect things to be all fairy tales and happy endings. I loved this story though. Juliette and Garth have such a great story. It makes for a better story when you are able to pull from real life events, even the painful ones, and make it into something you want to read about. It was a fun read and great addition to the set!

Lights, Cowboy, Action By Cindi Madsen
Kaia and Grady come from two different worlds. Ones a cowboy and one is practicall Hollywood royalty. It's hard to even imagine how that first conversation would go. This story paints a great picture of how that relationship would play out and I really felt like I could connect with the characters well. I was worried for a second it was gonna get a little steamy and I like to keep my books clean reads but in the end it was done tastefully and PG clean! It was a fun read and a great addition to the set!
Southern Kicks By Cassie Mae
This was a cute story. I don't read many written in the 3rd person. It was interesting that it jumped back and forth between the characters that way. I am definitely a city slicker I don't know that I could learn to live on a far if I had to. It was fun to read though. I love that Daisha wanted to do everything she could to make her husband happy and show him they could make things work!
Holden’s Heart By: Kelli Ann Morgan
I think this was my favorite novella of the set. Olivia and Holden just reminded me of my husband and I for some reason. They clicked from the start and had an unbreakable bond. I loved the setting and the story line of this book as well. It just seemed to flow and make for a great story.
Chasing Kisses By Jolene Betty Perry
This was a great ending to a wonderful set of books. Not many people are able to make a friend in their childhood they would want to spend their life with. I loved this sweet story of a childhood friendship that grew into something so much more!
This is a great set of clean romance and I enjoyed the whole thing!

The Captain (Griffin Force #2) by: Julie Coulter Bellon
ABOUT THIS BOOK:
Captain Colt Mitchell is part of the elite Griffin Force team hunting down terrorist Nazer al-Raimi. After an attack on the Canadian Parliament buildings, the team gets good intel on Nazer’s whereabouts. They plan to grab him, but when the mission goes wrong, Colt is captured and dragged away. Bruised, restrained, and disoriented, Colt is stunned to see Brenna Wilson, the Canadian intelligence officer who broke his heart years ago, standing next to Nazer. But how deep is she in the operation and can she help Colt escape?
After the devastating attack on Canadian soil, Brenna is recruited to go undercover to find out what Nazer is planning next. She’s close to her goal until her former flame Colt Mitchell is taken hostage. Walking away from him has always been her biggest regret and she knows she has to save him, even if it blows her mission. Taking matters into her own hands, she pulls off a daring escape, but Colt and Brenna must learn to trust each other again if they want to stay alive. With their hearts and their lives on the line can they survive long enough to stop Nazer from ravaging another country’s sense of security?
MY THOUGHTS:
This book was another great addition to this series. Like all of Julie's other books it is full of action and suspense with a tiny mix of romance. I have been a huge fan of these books and although I enjoyed reading it, I feel like they are getting repetitive and I am ready to see something new. I want to get that feeling of WOW that I felt after reading her first book. The characters are great and the story line flows really well and if you are a fan of the others I'm am sure you will enjoy this one too. It is fun to see them all get their own stories I just feel that all the books are all very much alike. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for this kind of book this week...Like I said overall it was good I just wanted a wow factor and didn't get one, great job though Julie!
NOTE: I received an ARC copy of this book from the Author in exchange for an honest review.

The Independent One by: Cami Checketts
ABOUT THE BOOK:
Sweet romance by bestselling author, Cami Checketts
Single mom, Haley Turnbow, escapes to the tropical Isla del Sol for an ideal vacation with her five-year old. She's planning on lazy beach days, great food, and a happy kid. She doesn't plan on the resident hotel ghost stalking her and the island's fine-looking owner drawing her in with his confident, fun personality.
Cal Johnson is king of his own island, happy and busy. Thoughts of a family are on the horizon, but always seem out of grasp until a beautiful mom and her wild little boy flip his world upside down. He falls in love with both of them. Realizing they're going to leave at the end of their vacation, he does everything in his power to capture Haley's heart.
Haley and Cal may be able to enjoy a vacation romance, but can what they feel translate into the real world? Only a giant leap of trust will give the answer.
Introduction by Lucy McConnell and Bonus Chapter from The Rebellious One: A Billionaire Bride Pact Romance by Jeanette Lewis.
MY THOUGHTS:
This book was awesome! I couldn't put it down and read it in a day! I LOVE this series. Every book in the Billionaire Bride Pact series is amazing! Haley has had a rough adult life trying to be a single Mom and all she wants is to be able to take care of herself and her son. She wins a free vacation and the last thing she needs on the trip is to find a man or to deal with a ghost but both end up happening. We have seen bits and pieces of Cal Johnson in some of the other books so it was fun to see them both get a story together. Cami pulls you into her stories and you connect with the characters like you have known them forever this one is no different. She has an amazing talent for writing and I love all her books! As always, awesome job Cami! I loved it!

The Rebeillious One by: Jeanette Lewis
ABOUT THE BOOK:
Holly Clarke has lived a life of comfort and privilege growing up on Le Ciel, her family's luxury resort. But extreme wealth often comes with strings attached and in Holly's case, it means a loveless marriage to Brit Anderson, the son of her father's partner. With her wedding day looming ever closer, Holly's rebellious streak finally wakes up and she realizes she must find a way out of the engagement, especially when she meets mysterious and sexy Jordan Fischler. But Jordan has a secret, and loving him could mean the end of everything Holly knows.
MY THOUGHTS:
I loved this book. This series is so awesome! Holly is all about family and keeping her parents happy but an arraigned marriage just loses its appeal as she gets older, that is if it ever had any...I love that Holly realizes that she needs to take control of her life and change things for the better. I've always been kind of rebellious so it was easy for me to cheer her on! Another great addition to this series. I love that there are going to be 12 of these books because I have had a blast reading every single one so far! Great job Jeanette!

The men and women of Merryton are like living barometers, and when a storm is brewing in the life of one of their own, they are sure to get to the bottom of it--and forecast it on the Merryton grapevine.
Jessica and Blake Summers know a thing or two about what it’s like to be the latest and greatest news on the vine. Their thirteen year marriage has had more than its fair share of heartache and loss. Then the past comes knocking, in the form of a teenage girl, a daughter Blake never knew existed. The news sets the Merryton grapevine on fire.
In the wake of this revelation and firestorm, Blake and Jessica are forced to reevaluate their own relationship and priorities, all while learning that raising a teenage girl is not for the faint of heart. But in the midst of the chaos and uncertainty, they discover that Madeline may just be what the doctor ordered to heal their broken hearts and mend their own tattered relationship.
Will they have the courage to look forward and find a greater love than they could ever imagine? Or will past hurts and the town grapevine tear them apart?
MY THOUGHTS:
Since I started book reviewing as a hobby I have seen and heard a lot about many different Authors. I am always hesitant to try a new Author because I try to keep everything I read clean and you never really know what you are going to get until you dive in. I had heard that Jessie Belle was an awesome book and I have a HUGE stack of books to be read right now.....but since the second book just came out and people are raving about them both I bumped it to the top. Let me tell you everything I have heard was true. This book was awesome I loved it! Jessie and Blake have been married for 13 years and let's just say things are becoming very rocky for them. I can relate year 13 was a bad one for me too but we pushed through and are on 16.5 now! This book will have you feeling happy and frustrated and sometimes I even wanted to throw my kindle but I read it in less than 24 hours and I fell in love with Jessie and Blake and wanted so badly for them to have a happy ending. I am so glad I gave Jennifer a try. I actually have a bunch of her books in my stack already from recommendations from others so I am super excited to read more! It's always a great day when you can add an Author to your list and Jennifer is a good one. Her books are full of emotion and truth and passion (in a good way it was a clean one!) and I will be reading more! Thank you Jennifer! From your newest fan!

MUCH ADO ABOUT DANCING by Heidi Ashworth. Two years have passed since Lord Northrup declared his intentions for Miss Analisa Lloyd-Jones and forbade any other man to court her. Angry at the neglect, Analisa stopped reading his letters, never even breaking the seals. Tired of waiting, Analisa joins the house party at Mrs. Smith’s famous country home, determined to find a beau. When Lord Northrup unexpectedly joins the party, Analisa discovers she is no longer repulsed by the man who first laid claim to her hand.
SWEETER THAN ANY DREAM by Annette Lyon. Olivia Wallington is firmly established as a spinster, but that doesn’t stop her from dreaming about the perfect man. Ever since her father’s death, Olivia has been forced into seclusion by her mother. When her brother and his wife come for a visit, they discover the extent to which she lives under their mother’s thumb. With their help, Olivia sneaks out to attend a local ball, where she meets Edward Blakemoore. For a few divine moments, all of her dreams seem possible. But even someone like Mr. Blakemoore would be hard pressed to get past Mrs. Wallington’s fortress of protection—or past Olivia’s pride.

When Alex Darling arrives with a letter from her long-dead fiancé, and a demand that she travel to London for a series of engagements, Ella thinks her father instigated the strange demands and agrees. In London, she discovers the truth behind her fiancé’s death, and that new love might be possible in the arms of the most unexpected man.

MY THOUGHTS:
Much Ado About Dancing by Heidi Ashworth
I loved this story. I can't image how hard it would be to have your parents pick out a betrothed for you. To grow up knowing you are to marry that person and for them to stop others from showing any interest in you because of their claim is just crazy. It was fun to see Analisa grow and mature through the book and to see past her reservations! What a great story!
Sweeter Than Any Dream by: Annette Lyon
This was such a fun read. Olivia doomed to be a spinster for life and controlled by her Mother and Aunt.....I was happy to see that she learned she needed to stand up for herself and that she needed her own voice. I have always been very outspoken so it is something I believe in full-heartedly. It was so great to see Olivia and Edward both get a happily ever after neither expected to happen! Great job Annette!
An Invitation to Dance by:Michele Paige Holmes
Every great relationship is built on a beautiful friendship and that is exactly what Ella and Alex were able to form. Neither ever seeing anything less than the best of each other. What an awesome romance! This was a great ending to this trio of stories! I enjoyed them all!
Note: I was given an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Love Under Construction by: Danyelle Ferguson
Charlee was angry . . .
What do you do when your boss makes someone else the lead on a big renovation project that
should rightfully be yours? You quit. On second thought, that might not be the best idea, but Charlee
Jackson has never been one for second thoughts. Instead, she lands a big contract of her own. She’s
jumping into her new life—work boots, tool belt and all. Now she just needs to form a company and
hire contractors and buy supplies and get an office . . . and not fall in love with her former boss's son.
Yeah. Definitely not that last one.
Peter was torn . . .
You can’t date someone who works for you, but now that his dad let Charlee walk out the door, Peter
Elliot is considering his options. Charlee was their top renovation expert, his best friend’s sister, and
the only thing that made the drudgery of running a large construction business bearable. But how do
you date a competitor, especially one your father is trying to drive out of business? It would be stupid
to make your dad angry right before he retires and hands the company over to you. Right?
When Charlee and Peter are scheduled to work on the same Indulgence Row house, their feelings
and priorities are put to the test. They need to make a choice, and they better be quick about it,
because the whole mixture is curing fast and threatening to crumble to pieces.

MY THOUGHTS:
I loved this book so much! It was snowing the day I read it and I just wanted to stay under a warm blanket and read all day. I couldn't put it down. I am falling in love with the people on indulgence row. It made me want to go back and read the first one again because it has been so long. I loved Charlee's story and how she struggles to feel like she fits in with other women when she is a tomboy. I love how patient and loving Peter is with her and how perfect they are for each other. I love that it wasn't all fairy tale and that there were obstacles they had to over come to get to their happily ever! I am super excited about a book 3 and Mari's story. Great job Danyelle!

Rattled (The Sierra Files Book 3) by: Christy Barritt
ABOUT THE BOOK:
“What do you mean a thirteen-foot lavender albino ball python is missing?”
Tough-as-nails Sierra Nakamura Davis isn’t one to get flustered. But trying to balance being a wife and a new mom with her crusade to help animals is proving harder than she imagined. Add a missing python, a high-maintenance intern, and a dead body to the mix, and Sierra becomes the definition of rattled.
Can she balance it all—and solve a possible murder—without losing her mind? Or will this juggling act be the death of her?
The Sierra Files:
Pounced
Hunted
Pranced
Rattled
Caged (coming soon)
MY THOUGHTS:
This was such a great book. It was fun to see a different side of Sierra. I think parenthood changes us all and it was nice to see that her priorities are changing to her son vs. animal rights. I am excited to see where Christy will take this in the future. This book had a great Gabby like vibe but fit perfectly with Sierra. I love that Christy does so well at adapting the cases to the main character of the series you are reading. Another great one! Can't wait for more!
