Beneath by H.B. Moore

ABOUT THE BOOK:
Chalice Stratford’s hands won’t stop shaking. Since the serial killer who tortured her is still at large, she’s had to enter the witness protection program and give up the medical practice that required her steady hand. Now she is working in a museum in Bordeaux, France, and doing her best to keep a low profile.
On the first day of her new job, the last thing she expects is to be abducted in a theft gone wrong. But Omar Zagouri, the man behind the heist, is more than he appears, and Chalice soon discovers that he might be the one man who can put her demons to rest.

MY THOUGHTS:
I feel like this is the great start to a what could be a great book. Although you learn quite a bit about the mail characters I don't feel like enough is told in such a short amount of pages. I also felt like their relationship developed too quickly when she had been kidnapped, held and tormented by a serial killer. I really feel that this could be developed into a really great book it just needs at least 100 or so more pages. At the end it did say it was a prequel to Finding Sheba so maybe I will have to try that and see if it fills in the blanks for me.
